iPhone Duo Buying Guide for Kenya
Is the iPhone 18 Duo the same as the iPhone Duo? Yes. Apple's official name is iPhone Duo. Many buyers call it the iPhone 18 Duo or the foldable iPhone because it launched alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September 2026.
Does the iPhone Duo take a physical SIM card? No. It works with eSIM only and has no SIM tray. It can run two active eSIMs, so check that your mobile network can set up an eSIM on your line before you buy.
Does the iPhone Duo have Face ID? No. It uses Touch ID built into the side button, which works when the phone is open or folded.
What is the difference between the iPhone Duo and the iPhone 18 Pro? The iPhone Duo folds open to a 7.6-inch display and has a titanium frame. The iPhone 18 Pro has a single 6.3-inch display, Face ID, a telephoto camera and a variable-aperture main camera, which the iPhone Duo does not have.
Does the iPhone Duo support Apple Pencil? Apple says support for Apple Pencil with USB-C is coming later this year. The pencil is sold separately.
Is the iPhone Duo waterproof? It is water and dust resistant, not waterproof. Its IP68 rating covers a maximum depth of 6 metres for up to 30 minutes.
Does the iPhone Duo come with a charger? No. The box contains the phone and a USB-C charge cable, so you will need a USB-C power adapter.
How quickly can I receive it? 2–3 hours within Nairobi, with countrywide delivery available.
